Peaceful Greetings–MFT Wednesday Sketch Challenge #308

MFTWSC308_2016nov24

Hi, everyone, I’m back with this week’s MFT Wednesday Sketch Challenge! Are you ready? Here’s this week’s sketch. All of the details about the sketch challenge are available on the MFT Challenge & Inspiration blog as well as in the weekly newsletter. The MFT Design Team will be on hand to provide plenty of inspiration to get you started.

This was another FUN sketch! I started with a Sweet Tooth card stock base, then cut Starry Circle Die-namics frame from another panel of Sweet Tooth card stock and set it aside. I did a watercolor wash on Ranger Watercolor Paper with Peerless Watercolors and a waterbrush, cut the starry element out, backed it with Silver Sparkle card stock and adhere it to the base, and popped the cutout panel up on foam mounting tape.

Then I added a strip of Dots & Stripes Neutral Paper Pack, Peaceful Words Die-namics cut from Silver Sparkle card stock, and a sentiment from Hand Lettered Holiday stamped with Versamark on Black Licorice card stock cut with Blueprints 19 Die-namics and heat embossed with white detail embossing powder. I finished off with some small stars cut from Silver Sparkle card stock with Blueprints 25 Die-namics.

And that’s it from me today! Remember, you can get all the details by visiting the MFT Challenge Blog. You have the chance to win a $20 in MFT voucher. One winner is chosen at random each week!

Thanks SO much for stopping by! See you soon!
