Hey there! I’m back today with another In the Background card and video. AND, adding another card to my Christmas stash :)

Today’s video will show you how I made this diagonal gingham pattern with a stencil and ink. You can also see the video HERE on YouTube and I hope you’ll subscribe to my channel :)

I started with a piece of Primitive White Card Stock and taped it down to my grid paper, then taped down Diagonal Stripes Stencil and sponged on Sno Cone Ink with my handy-dandy dauber. I think turned my stencil 90 degrees and sponged again to create the pattern.

To create my card, I started with a Primitive White Card Stock base. Then I trimmed down my just-stenciled paper, matted it with silver glitter paper and popped them both up on the base on foam. I added three layers of Winter Wreath Die-namics, cut from metallic silver paper, adhered a Sno Cone Card Stock bow, and Copic-colored clear gems for “berries”. The sentiment, from DC Ornament Banner Builder, was stamped with Versamark and heat embossed with silver embossing powder, then popped up, as well.

A sentiment from Seasonal Sentiments was stamped on the inside with Steel Gray Ink.
